V4QA Forum launched

The leaders of the higher education quality assurance agencies of the four Visegrád countries signed the Memorandum establishing the Visegrad Four Quality Assurance Forum (V4QA Forum) on October 7, 2021 in Budapest.

The Forum, discussed during one of the high education expert meetings of the V4 Presidency of Hungary, and set up by the Hungarian MAB (Magyar Felsőoktatási Akkreditációs Bizottság), the Czech NAB (Národní akreditační úřad pro vysoké školstvi), the Polish PKA  (Polska Komisja Akredytacyjna) and the Slovak SAAVS (Slovenská akreditačná agentúra pre vysoké školstvo)  aims at providing a regular exchange of experiences in QA , facilitate the development of an international network of experts, and initiate staff exchange of the participating agencies.

The four organizations agreed on preparing policy proposals on higher education quality assurance topics actual in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), and related to their competence and mandate in QA for the Czech EU Presidency in 2022.

The Forum will continue to rotate as the Presidency of the Visegrad Cooperation model, so that in 2022 the Slovak SAAVS will take over the coordination tasks. The V4QA Forum is open to wider international collaborations and projects as set in the V4QAF Memorandum.
